Lead Pastor
Patrick and his wife Amy met on a camping trip while attending Southwest Baptist University and they were married in 2001. They have two daughters Caitlin, 21 and Rhiannon, 18. After graduating from Southwest Baptist University in 2002, Patrick served as a local representative for the United States Senate and later as a Chief of Staff in the Missouri Senate. In 2013, after eleven successful years of work in public service and public policy, the Morrows followed a call to ministry by packing up their family and moving to Waco, Texas, where Patrick studied at Baylor’s Truett Theological Seminary (Sic ‘Em Bears!). Patrick graduated from seminary in 2017 with a Master of Divinity.
Patrick and Amy both love to read. Together they enjoy exploring new places and spending time on the water. Patrick also loves to backpack (though it hurts more now than it used to) and nerd out with friends about historical theology and the obscure details of ancient liturgies and church manuals.
Amy and Patrick feel called to invest in and love people like Jesus did so that they can come to know Him. The Bible teaches us that Jesus is the image of the invisible God, that all things are through Him and for Him and that by His blood alone believers have peace with God. No other claim for the human heart is comparable to His in beauty, magnitude or impact. No other source proclaims this truth as faithfully or accurately as the inspired Word of God. The Morrows believe that God has called and blessed all believers with the ministry of proclaiming, upholding, living out and calling others to these truths in and through the local church, in our communities and to the ends of the earth.
